50th Anniversary of Sunflower Corporation.
2022
Successfully developed a Class 1 fire-resistant composite material and are FSC™ certified as a manufacturer, demonstrating our commitment to safety and responsible sourcing.
2020
Upgraded with antifungal and antibacterial performance (except metal laminates), and all chipboard is fully upgraded to antibacterial grade.
2016
Incorporated a German Wemhöner hot press machine into our production line, and proudly launched our new MFC brand, “Sunflower Chipboard” in the same year.
2015
Installed the Italian Tocchio impregnation machine into our production line.
2012
Certified under the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Marine Equipment Directive 2014/90/EU (Certification Body: 2690 Bureau Veritas, France)

Exclusively distributed South Korean solid surface brand HANEX and quartz brand HANSTONE.
2004
Successfully developed ultra-low formaldehyde laminate and chipboard, certified to meet Japan’s stringent F☆☆☆☆ standard.
2002
Recognized as an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer for its quality management system.
1996
Became the first manufacturer in Asia to obtain ISO 9002 certification for fire-resistant laminate production.
1995
Launched compact laminate brand “SOLID” and developed antibacterial panels, which were successfully exported to the Japanese market.
1994
Installed German-made Siempelkamp hot presses and VITS impregnation lines to further expand production capacity and enhance product quality. Sunflower became the first manufacturer in Asia capable of producing fire-resistant laminates wider than 4 feet.
1993
Launched another laminate brand, “Litespal”, along with the “Tianmei Board” (天美板) chipboard series.
1988
Took the lead in introducing solid surface materials to the Taiwanese market.
1985
Awarded the “CNS Mark” certification by the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI), Taiwan.
1984
Awarded the Golden Tripod Award for Outstanding Product Quality.
1983
Installed the first German Siempelkamp hot press to expand production capacity.
1979
Commenced production of high pressure laminates branded "Sunlite".
1974
Grew significantly in export sales, and was awarded the Outstanding Export Performance Award.
1973
Founded under the name "Sunflower Corporation". Initially specialized in secondary processing of plywood and manufacturing decorative boards such as Poly boards, laminate sheets, and PVC plywood.
